VoxBot is a text-to-speech Discord bot that provides:

• Neural text-to-speech conversion using multiple TTS engines
• Voice channel audio playback
• Customizable voice and language settings
• Join/leave announcements
• Per-user and server-wide preferences

3. User Responsibilities

When using VoxBot, you agree to:

• Use the bot in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Not use the bot to generate harmful, abusive, harassing, or illegal content
• Not attempt to exploit, hack, or abuse the bot's systems
• Not use the bot for spam or automated abuse
• Ensure you have appropriate permissions to use the bot in your server

4. Prohibited Content

You may not use VoxBot to generate or broadcast:

• Hate speech or discriminatory content
• Threats, harassment, or bullying
• Explicit or adult content without appropriate age restrictions
• Content that violates intellectual property rights
• Misleading or fraudulent content
• Any content that violates applicable laws

5. Data Collection and Privacy

VoxBot collects and stores limited data necessary for its operation:

• Server IDs and channel configurations
• User preferences (voice, language, engine settings)
• No message content is permanently stored

6. Third-Party Services

VoxBot utilizes third-party TTS services including:

• Microsoft Edge TTS
• Google Text-to-Speech
• Piper TTS (local processing)

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain VoxBot's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The bot may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled or emergency maintenance
• Technical issues or outages
• Discord API limitations or outages
• Third-party service disruptions

8. Limitation of Liability

VoxBot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the bot
• Content generated through the TTS service
• Loss of data or service interruptions
• Actions taken based on bot-generated content

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to VoxBot for any user or server that violates these terms or engages in abusive behavior. Users may remove the bot from their server at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of VoxBot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
