XR Studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates VoxBot, a Discord text-to-speech bot. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our bot.

• Server IDs: To identify which Discord servers have added VoxBot
• Channel IDs: To know which text channels are configured for TTS
• User IDs: To store your voice and language preferences
• User Preferences: Your chosen TTS engine, voice, and language settings
• Server Settings: Server-wide defaults and announcement configurations

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We respect your privacy and do NOT collect or store:

• Message content (text is processed in real-time and immediately discarded)
• Voice recordings or audio files
• Personal information such as email addresses, names, or contact details
• IP addresses or location data
• Browsing history or activity outside of bot interactions

3. How We Use Your Information

The data we collect is used solely for:

• Providing text-to-speech functionality in your configured channels
• Remembering your voice and language preferences
• Applying server-wide default settings
• Enabling or disabling features like announcements and 24/7 mode

4. Data Storage

All data is stored locally in a SQLite database on our secure servers. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

5. Third-Party Services

VoxBot uses third-party TTS services to generate speech:

• Microsoft Edge TTS: Text is sent to Microsoft's servers for voice synthesis
• Google Text-to-Speech: Text is sent to Google's servers for voice synthesis
• Piper TTS: Text is processed locally on our servers (no external transmission)

When using Edge TTS or Google TTS, your text messages are transmitted to these services for processing. Please refer to Microsoft's and Google's respective privacy policies for information on how they handle data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

• User Preferences: Stored until you remove the bot from your server or request deletion
• Server Settings: Stored until the bot is removed from the server
• Message Content: Not stored - processed in real-time and immediately discarded

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request information about what data we store about you
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data by removing the bot from your server
• Correction: Update your preferences at any time using bot commands

8. Children's Privacy

VoxBot is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. Data Security

We implement security measures to protect your data, including:

• Secure server infrastructure
• Limited data collection (only what's necessary)
• No storage of sensitive message content
• Regular security reviews

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of VoxBot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
